Transition Extreme opened its doors to the public on 15th April 2007 and to this day remains true to its conceptual aim – to be a truly modern social enterprise using urban sports and their cultures to attract and engage the local youth population.

- Transition Extreme is a innovative social enterprise and recognised as Scottish Charity SC036358.
Transition Extreme is particularly concerned with assisting young people in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to make the difficult transition from childhood to adulthood (avoiding the pitfalls of the many others forms of “ negative recreation”) and thereafter maximising their potential in society. - Transition Extreme aims to increase participation in sport from childhood to adulthood – engaging those not attracted to conventional sports.
- We provide a diversionary facility which supports initiatives to reduce crime, substance abuse and antisocial behaviour.
Since we opened in 2007 we've won 5 major awards:

Since we opened our doors we’ve seen in excess of 360,000 people come through our doors and this is growing every day.
