Do I have to become a member?

No but you will pay a bit more every time you visit us. If you become an annual member you'll benefit from a discounted entry price. For example, if you visit us more than once a month you will save money being a member.

Do you offer discounts for coming regularly?

We have a number of different passes and membership options which save regular users money. View our membership and price list.

Do you run birthday parties?

Yes we have dedicated slots for both Climbing and Skatepark parties on Saturday and Sundays but they book up very quickly so we are currently recommending you book at least 6 weeks in advance. We charge for a minimum number of 6 children to run a party with a maximum capacity of 12 for climbing and 6 for the skatepark. We can accommodate larger groups by special arrangement. We also offer a party menu and can provide homemade birthday cakes from the café. See price list for prices.

Can you accommodate large groups?

Yes we have a variety of group rates for community groups, schools and corporate events. View our price list.

I’ve never climbed before, I’m really interested in climbing, can I come in and use the wall?

Access to the climbing wall for beginners is allowed but only under supervision. The best way to quickly learn all the skills required to register yourself as a competent climber and to use the wall unsupervised is to sign up for our Learn to climb Course. To see more details click here.

What are the age restrictions in the climbing wall and skatepark?

In our coaching sessions we take children from the age of 5 years and upwards. If you are a competent climber you can bring a child of any age under your supervision.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday : 1000 - 2200
Saturday & Sunday: 1000 -2000

Can I hire equipment?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive range of hire equipment. See price list.

Do I need to book into the coaching clubs and courses?

Yes and preferably as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment, as many of our courses fill up quickly.

Can a complete beginner use the skatepark without supervision?

Yes, you can come into a beginners session. Our staff will be on hand to give out pointers and ensure you are safe.

Can we make a block booking for Kids Clubs and coaching sessions?

Yes, you can book as many sessions in advance as you like. Please be aware that payment will be required for all sessions at the time of booking and our cancellation policy applies.

Can I arrange private coaching sessions?

We offer [private coaching in the skatepark and climbing wall] by arrangement please contact the centre. See price list for prices.

Can we have exclusive use of the skatepark?

Yes, the skatepark can be hired exclusively between 8.00pm and 10.00pm on Saturday and Sundays. Please contact the centre to arrange.

I would like to organise a large corporate fun day at Transition, can you accommodate this type of large event?

Yes, we can accommodate large numbers for special events and would love to discuss your requirements with you.  Please contact us to discuss this further.
